72 PCS 3/8" Impact Socket Bit Set 6 Point, CRV SAE and Metric Sizes (5/16 to 3/4-Inch & 8-22 mm), 2 Extension Rods, 1/4" & 1/2" Adapter, Universal Joint, Screwdriver Handle with 20 Bits

Coated heavy steel socket set with both metric and standard, deep and shallow, and lots of drivers. What I liked about the set: pieces are sturdy, it's easy to read the size with the stamped white on black values in large print, and this set includes sizes that I dont have in my other set (that tops out at 19mm). I actually needed the 21mm for my latest project, which came in super handy. I think I also needed a 20mm, which this set unfortunately does not have. Also includes some accessories and attachments I didn't previously have like the wobble. What I didn't like as much: comes with the pieces coated in a protective oil. So much oil that the set and the case interior are wet. They didn't skimp on the oil here, folks. So the pieces have already started collecting dust and cat hair. I have no idea where all this cat hair is coming from, but it's everywhere. Another reviewer suggested wiping everything down right away, which is probably wise. Just budget some time in for that.

I'm not sure how many sets I have that I bought when I needed them, that was missing a socket, an oddball that you don't use very often. Some were missing the 14 or 15 etc.. Often, they're missing the 16 and the 18 because they're seldom used. This one does not have the 20 mm or a 7/8 which would be a sloppy 20 mil. Other than that it seems to be a pretty good kit. There is room at the top of the case if somebody wanted to do a little fabricating to that case to add a few extra tools. I like the case. They reinforced it somewhat the Locking mechanisms with metal instead of all plastic. It does take up a nice small footprint. I intend to keep this set in the car. Considering the compact size I think it'll fit nicely in my storage organizer. I have a quarter inch kit and 1/2 in socket set that I keep in there, it will be nice to add this 3/8 kit to it.

He has a bunch of expensive, high-quality tools, but he tends to be peculiar about when to use them, often complaining that he needs some inexpensive sets to use for quick and dirty projects, rather than his expensive tools. I have no idea why. It seems weird to me, but I don’t use all the tools he has, so I wouldn’t know. I got this set for him to keep in his small tool chest to serve that purpose for him, The sockets are all steel, nice quality, strong and durable. There are 72 pieces, like stated and they are broken down into two sets: Metric and SAE. The size is stamped on each sock and there’s a diagram insert inside the case that lists each included piece. The case is durable and easy to stow away also. It’s a great set for the price. My husband is happy with it.
